We screen all potential guests prior to taking a reservation. We want to make sure we know who is coming to your home because we want the right guests. To us, the right guests are families who are going to treat your home like they would their own. They are not solely fixated on price but rather a balance between price and quality.
Our guests are looking for a nice place to come back to after a day of exploring the area where they can be comfortable and have a space of their own. They are not looking to have people sleeping on the floor just to pay less. Their priorities are in line with what we provide, well-maintained, well-appointed, and well equipped homes and they are willing to pay a little more for this added comfort.
This falls in line with how we advertise your vacation rental. For instance, we only allow a maximum of two adults per bedroom. Each adult will be in a real bed, not a sleeper sofa. In the long run this will help with the care of your home.
We have found that by both limiting the amount of people per reservation and by getting to know the guests we have an increased chance of limiting damage to your home. If you allow for a home to be over occupied you are more likely to have damage done, accidental or intentional.
By screening your guests we protect your home and ensure its profitability long into the future.
