Summer in Breckenridge is marked by longer days, shorter nights, more bikes, less cars and lots of Colorado sunshine. As you know, summer is all about creating memories so come to Breck where epic memories are made.
If you are a morning person rise with the sun, grab your fishing rod and head to one of the many Gold Medal Rivers within minutes of downtown Breckenridge to enjoy some of the most scenic fly-fishing in Colorado. Grab your bike for a morning climb up Vail Pass to work up a sweat before breakfast. Spend a leisurely morning walking around town and grab a coffee at Clint’s while you peruse the shops and make your way down to the south side of Main. As your appetite grows treat yourself to a pumpkin chocolate chip muffin at Cool River and grab a seat by the Dredge Pond to let the kids frolic in the refreshingly cold water.
Another great Breckenridge adventure is Mohawk Lakes. Depending on how long you want to spend on the trail you can hike to the first lake in little under an hour at only two miles out or you can make it all-day activity and hike to the top and see all five lakes. Just make sure to pack plenty of water and your camera. I promise you will want to remember the spectacular views!
After the days adventures the private patio at your Book Breck Breckenridge vacation rental will serve as the ideal place to enjoy a cold beverage and watch the sun set while planning tomorrow’s activities.
