Our Mission Statement:  Book Breck is a small locally-owned and operated business aimed at providing private, well-maintained, well-appointed, and well-equipped homes supplied with eco-friendly nonessentials.  Our target clientele is families who seek a home-away-from-home experience that is somewhere between the pampering of hotel-service and the self-reliance of renting directly from a homeowner.

Our local staff is knowledgeable on all homes and the community.  We are committed to being honest, fair, and responsive to guest and homeowner needs.  We are equally as dedicated to supporting our local community and the environment.

Meet Our Team:  The Book Breck team embodies the company motto “Dedicated, Dependable, Detailed.” Our team is fully vested in the care of each and every one of our homes no matter the size or location.  Having a small “boutique style” inventory enables every staff member to know the details and nuances of every beloved home we manage. All staff members reside in the Breckenridge area and are deeply rooted in the mountain culture. We have the insider tips that our guests are looking for! We also know how to deal with the toll our homes endure from the high alpine environment and vacationing renters. Owner- Imane Deininger

Owner/Manager: Imane Deininger

I became owner of Book Breck in 2008 largely in part by mere chance, and I am so glad I did. With a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and master’s degree in Public Administration, being a small business owner in the vacation rental world does not seem a natural progression. In hindsight, however, it’s as if everything has lead up to it.

I spent my college years working in the hospitality industry and learning the qualities of good customer service before social networking was all the rage. I even had the good fortune of working in different tourist communities from St Croix, USVI to Paris, France.

Years later, I followed a lifelong dream by serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Burkina Faso. There I learned what it truly takes to work with others. I also had my first experience building a project from the ground up, including planning the daily logistics, revenue and expense projections, and long term sustainability. It was this latter experience combined with my time as Program Director at a Family Center that led me to pursue a Master in Public Administration.

While working toward my master’s degree, my love affair with Breckenridge was beginning to truly take hold.  I had already fallen in love with the quaintness of the town, the sense of community among the residents, the ebb and flow of the visitor with the change of seasons, and the exquisite restaurants, boutiques and galleries. My (now) husband, Pete Deininger, was slowly introducing me to all the things that made him fall in love with the area ten years earlier: mountain biking, cross-country skiing, hot springs, and of course, skiing! Having grown up on the beach just south of Casablanca then in Tucson, I was a little nervous taking on this last winter sport. Now, I love sharing my experience and love of skiing with other beginner/intermediate skiers.

As a vacation rental business owner, I am able to pull from all my experiences and passions: efficiency, organization and finding new ways to improve customer service in the true sense of the words…serving the customer by discovering your needs and meeting them. I am also able to draw from my love of the outdoors, the neighborly way of life of a small town, and the balance of work and play that a town like Breckenridge draws out.

Administration/Marketing- Kristi Stanford

Office Administrator/Marketing Manager: Kristi Stanford

I was born and raised in Texas by a family who loved the Colorado mountains and owned a vacation home in South Fork, Colorado. From the time I was very young, I was drawn to the rocky mountains and proclaimed I would be going to Colorado to live someday, not just to vacation.

After graduating from Tarleton State University in Texas, I ended up starting a family and sticking around in Texas longer than intended. For many years, I counted the days down to each trip until I was back in Colorado for hiking, biking, skiing, and just enjoying the beauty of this majestic state, and especially the magic of Breckenridge. Long weekends and even summer-long stays were never enough and so finally I became a Breckenridge homeowner and year-round resident.  My two children and our dog love getting to enjoy mountain activities as well.

I bring my experience as a vacation home renter and my knowledge of the area to help provide our Book Breck guests with an experience that makes them feel like they have a friend away from home to ensure their vacation is an unforgettable experience.  I am extremely happy to be working for a company with employees who strive to ensure quality right down to the smallest details.

Robin Blitzer

I grew up in northern NJ and graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management. While completing my internship in Yellowstone National Park, I fell in love with the West. I decided to make Colorado my home after graduation.  What could be a better place to work and take advantage of the hiking, biking and skiing?

I started working in the hospitality industry in 1982. After some time in the Natural Foods industry, I returned to hospitality. Through my work experiences, I have learned the importance of providing excellent customer service so clients get what they want and need. I love working in the customer service industry because I like working with people and I get satisfaction from seeing people happy. I like the atmosphere and the people who work for Book Breck. Everyone is dedicated to the company and what we do here and I like being a part of that. I am taking what I’ve learned throughout the years to provide our guests world class customer service.

When I’m not working, I love to connect with my friends. I also love to hike, bike and ski as well as visit hot springs which is why I still live and love it here. I love the lifestyle, and I love small communities that make you feel that you are part of a family.

Lindsay Flavion

Administrative Assistant/Reservationist:  Lindsay Flavion

In 2017 I made the decision to leave my hometown in Western Pennsylvania and head west to the mountains in search of a new and magnificent place to call home. Following that voice inside me is how I discovered Breckenridge, a place that captured my heart immediately and continues to impress me with its beauty every day.

Traveling to foreign destinations to experience different cultures and ways of life firsthand has always called to me! I firmly believe in the value and benefits that manifest themselves from these personal experiences, trekking across the globe for sheer fun and enjoyment.

I am very blessed to have had opportunities to travel to so many different parts of the world. Some of my travels have taken me to study the African wildlife in Tanzania; live in South America one summer while working at a medical clinic in Cuellaje, Ecuador; hiking and rafting in Central America; celebrating a handful of weddings throughout Mexico; hiking and camping along numerous parts of the Appalachian Trail and through various National Parks across the United States; snowboarding the Northeast, Canada, Wyoming, and Colorado, as well as other destinations and pursuits.

Yet, in all of my travels there was something very special about the town of Breckenridge, Colorado. The historic charm and unique personality of this mountain town made the choice to settle here a very easy one. I couldn’t be happier to call Breck my home. Some of my favorite things about Summit County is the style and pace of life here. Many people that have settled here, bring unique perspectives yet share a like-mindedness and love of the wonderful town of Breck. Most of all I love the opportunity to experience and enjoy the outdoors here. Being raised with a sincere appreciation for nature and the outdoors I couldn’t have found a better place to enjoy the seasons and the seemingly endless outdoor opportunities, experiences, and adventures! I feel like I am always finding my “new favorite spot”.

I am a 2012 graduate of Washington & Jefferson College earning double majors in Psychology and Religious Studies. Before making Breckenridge my home I have worked for a behavioral health firm as a support technician for autistic children and was the Director of Human Resources, coached both a girls high school lacrosse program and elite travel lacrosse team, reaching regional championships in Western Pennsylvania and competing in tournaments across the country, and held various positions in the retail food service industry.

I am so thrilled to be working with such an awesome group of individuals, each bringing their own unique style and life experiences. Each of our experiences add up to better ensure YOU will have the best Breckenridge experience as our guest!
