Things to Do at Frisco Adventure Park in Summer or Winter
Flying down the 1,200-foot tubing lanes is sure to get your adrenaline pumping! Feel free to slide solo or go down together! It’s a rush of excitement that even young children will not be able to get enough of. If you’d like to add more to your snow day, slip on your skis and take to the slopes! The park even offers beginner ski and snowboard lessons to newbies, so you can enjoy learning a new skill together.
If your adventurous side is craving on-foot exploration, you’ll love the snowshoeing trails at Frisco Adventure Park! You will be surrounded by stunning views of snowy mountain peaks and soak in Colorado’s winter majesty. Guided snowshoe adventures and rentals are available at the park.
Frisco Adventure Park Sleigh Rides
No winter is complete without a splendid horse-drawn sleigh ride. Snuggle together in a warm blanket as you are drawn through snow-capped mountains underneath the sheet of a starry night. Some sleigh tours include hot cocoa, fresh baked cookies, and even a 3-course dinner! It’s the perfect option for a romantic evening or a memorable family excursion.
A visitor favorite, the Tumble Bubbles allow you to bounce and smash into each other within a 9- foot-tall human hamster ball! You will hardly be able to stop laughing as you slip and slide through the snow and roll yourself throughout the base of the tubing hill.
The Frisco Bike Park, located at 621 Recreation Way in the Frisco Adventure Park, has four different park amenities for riders of all sizes and abilities: pump track, slopestyle course, dirt jumps and a dual slalom course.
There are a multitude of recreational paths that wind around and through town. They will connect you to other towns (all the way to Vail if you want) or give you access to off road trails. The rec paths in Frisco go past the trailhead to historic Mason Town and past an interpretive nature preserve area. People enjoy walking, biking, skateboarding, running with strollers, and roller blading along the rec paths.
Loved by kids of all ages. Tumble, bounce and smash other tumblers in giant (9ft) plastic human hamster balls.
Whether you are a beginner or an expert, you’ll love the challenging obstacles at the skate park! Be sure to pack your skateboard, roller skates, and helmet for a full day of shredding the gnar.
Enjoy 18 holes of fun at the Frisco Adventure Park Disc Golf Course. While the use of the course is free, visitors are required to bring their own equipment. You can find plenty of discs in nearby sports stores. The course usually opens in mid-May and stays open until the end of October.
Chuck Wagon Rides
Take an old-fashioned ride through the Colorado wilderness aboard a mule-team drawn wagon. You will be exposed to stunning Rocky Mountain scenery, have the opportunity to play a game of horseshoes or cornhole, and be served a BBQ feast! It’s a journey you will be bragging about for years to come!
