May 30-June 2, 2019– WAVE: Light + Water + Sound: Digital art eye candy of all sizes featuring illuminated sculptures, projections and digital art on the riverfront. Free fun for the whole family and includes a community lighted bike parade!
June 14 & 16, 2019– Gold Panning Championships: The Gold Prospectors of Colorado are returning to Breck for the annual Gold Panning Championships. Participants can learn to pan for gold (with tools provided for free) and compete in the annual championship. Open to all ages and free for everyone.
July 4-8, 2019– Independence Day Celebration, July 4th: The traditional 4th of July parade and festivities but with cool mountain air and Rocky Mountains as the backdrop. Note: Due to increasing wildfire concerns, as of 2019, there will no longer be a fireworks show during 4th of July in Breckenridge or Frisco. Our lives, forests, wildlife, homes, and businesses are too precious to risk. Fireworks are prohibited anywhere within town limits. Please be wildfire aware and do not light fireworks anywhere in Summit County.
July 13, 2019- Breckenridge Summer Beer Festival: Taste beer from over 50 breweries. Food, vendors, and live music will also be entertaining the guests as they drink their favorite brews.
Aug 9-18, 2019– Breckenridge International Festival of Arts: Inspired by our beautiful mountain culture, this festival is a fun and eclectic mix of sound and visual arts.
