Breckenridge: A Family Friendly Resort

At Book Breck Vacation Homes we cater to families with kids and we are proud to say that Breckenridge was rated as one of the top five family friendly resort towns by Adventure Parenting.

In the winter Breckenridge Mountain offers miles of beginner terrain for those just learning to ski or snowboard while the summer offers the Peak 8 Fun Park especially designed for the younger generation. The Stephen C. West Ice Rink also offers special sessions for kids and the Mountain Top Children’s Museum keeps the fun going with a “kid’s night out.” Here kids are provided with dinner and have an evening of specially designed art projects and crazy experiments meant to encourage laughter and learning.

There are also a variety of family friendly restaurants that have lively atmospheres and plastic table cloths so there’s no need to leave the kids at home. In particular there is Downstairs at Eric’s which offers an expansive menu that can please the most picky of palates and has a full arcade just outside the dining area so kids can practice their pac-man or pin ball skills while waiting for dinner, rather than getting restless at the table.

Or if you want to leave the kids at home for a night rest assured that they will be left in capable hands as Resort Sitters in Breckenridge will happily supply an experienced babysitter for the evening. Each sitter is CPR certified, a minimum of 21 years old and has passed a background test. Plus they come prepared with age appropriate activities to ensure that your kids have as much as fun as you will when you’re out on the town.

Breckenridge, as a town, similar to Book Breck Vacation Homes caters to families and we look forward to welcoming you. So, whether you are coming to ski or simply to relax rest assured that you are coming to the ideal mountain town for your family.

Lastly, feel free to give us a call if you have any questions about Breckenridge Rentals or about all of the Breckenridge family friendly activities and discounts we can provide.
